The Market Gardener Broadfork was inspired by J.M. Fortier, a renowned gardener and broadforker. This broadfork is sized to be a perfect fit for single pass tilling in your beds. Yes, this tool is our heaviest but if you have a 36” bed it also means fewer lifts of your broadfork as you move through the soil to till your full bed. 

Although the width of the step tube is 30” the handles are still mounted at our standard 20” width for comfortable broadforking.  The Market Gardener Broadfork tines cultivate a true 12" deep into the soil.
